Our El Paso, TX plants has a Manufacturing & Engineering Change Owner position that will support Manufacturing and Engineering departments and will be instrumental in minimizing interruptions to production flow. Their impact will be felt through the reduction of the negative effects of manufacturing/engineering barriers on commitments made to our customers. The candidate will also be responsible for leading the industrialization coordination for changes at the El Paso plants along with other affected plants by acting as the Manufacturing and Engineering Change Owner.
What will you do?
Informs all impacted plants about the evolutions of the product/solution from the product family
Verifies that each plant, has considered the evolution as it relates to industrial feasibility (resources, budget, schedule), part stock and usage, pilot run date, and effectivity date.
Challenges plants about their commitments and introduces synthesis of the Plants situation during board of change reviews.
Manages how product evolutions projects affect the El Paso, TX plants
Develops change management plans for projects and/or change initiatives
Identifies risks and developing risk mitigation tactics
What qualifications will make you successful?
Bachelors degree in a related technical field is required, 2 plus years of experience in the manufacturing of electrical distribution equipment preferred
Ability to read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings. Experience in interpreting drawings for Schneider Electric's Medium Voltage Products is a plus
Ability to effectively communicate with both engineering departments and plant manufacturing personnel
Strong organization skills to manage status from multiple stages of a project workflow
