Summary of Duties: Responsible for delivering analytics use cases. Form and mature capabilities to move Clarios towards a more structured strategic-decision support system by preparing data assets to be analyzed and modeled allowing information to be converted into actionable insights to optimize decisions and drive strategy. Ensure on-time and on-quality deliveries while adhering to system and data architectural guidelines where they exist while driving continuous improvement in areas where they do not. Responsible for the implementation of the data model design, data preparation, and data flow in order to support strategic Clarios analytics initiatives. Responsible for ensuring that key performance metrics are deployed in accordance with global standards established for metric deployment. Provide input and guidance on Clarios Analytics technical roadmap including key decisions on development practices, tools, platform and technical solution requirements. Work with the architecture team to ensure appropriate architectural runway is in place for productive offshore development. Lead the delivery of solutions according to the Clarios architectural standards. Responsible for work estimation specific to the technical delivery of analytics use cases. Responsible for the technical resource requirements definition in order to execute effectively on the technical backlog. Responsible for teams executing analytics research & development proof of concepts. Accountable for solution development against all quality and security standards. Provide effective communications specific to development activities including status, risks and issues, progress, etc. Engage key business stakeholders in an advisory capacity to identify opportunities to integrate predictive analytics into the fabric of decision making to drive value. Accountable for all aspects of the delivered solution throughout SDLC including integration, infrastructure, performance, IT Controls, DR/Backup/Recovery, and transition to support activities.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or closely related field, plus five (5) years of experience developing Business Intelligence solutions.

Applicants must have demonstrated experience with the following:

Strong knowledge of database and data warehousing concepts and big data platforms for structured and unstructured data; BO Universe or Information Design development; Proficiency in MS Power BI, Power Pivot, Power Query, SSAS or SQL Explorer; Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, Attunity and DML tools; Produce business capability designs, apply architectural principles to business solutions, and ensure correlations between business capabilities; and Proven implementation and issue resolution experience, including troubleshooting, performance tuning, and resolving connectivity issue.
