A Day in the Life

Cardiac Ablation Solutions offers cardiac mapping and ablation solutions to treat patients with abnormal heart rhythms. Our vision is to help patients worldwide by advancing innovation for the diagnosis and ablation of cardiac arrhythmias, enabling clinicians to perform procedures with superior outcomes.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.


  • Collaborates with other manufacturing managers and leadership to set and assess priorities across teams.
  • Assesses cost effectiveness and feasibility of manufacturing processes; makes and implements recommendations to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
  • Supervises resources to support manufacturing operations ensuring all work is performed accurately and according to quality and safety standards.
  • Assists the Maintenance Supervisor and/or other appropriate leadership with programs, activities, and responsibilities of the maintenance department.
  • Ensures compliance with health and safety laws, regulations, and guidelines, including EPA and OSHA requirements.
  • Prepares and implements the departmental budget.
  • Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff in the department.
  • Oversees the daily workflow of the department.
  • Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
  • Plans, directs and implements all aspects of the company's implementation of manufacturing processes on medical device products.
  • Guides the conceptualization of new methodologies, materials, machines, processes or products.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements


  • Bachelors degree required in Engineering discipline, or equivalent experience in manufacturing engineering field, required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of Medical Manufacturing Environment. ISO13485 and CFR21-11
  • 5S and Lean Principles
  • Knowledge of IEC 60601
  • Knowledge of PCBA manufacturing and IPC-610 standards
  • Knowledge of electrical medical device testing (functional and electrical safety testing)
  • Knowledge of cable assembly manufacturing
  • Knowledge of sheet metal and mechanical part manufacturing
  • Knowledge of software and firmware processes for electrical medical devices
  • Thorough understanding of manufacturing engineering-Process-Assembly and Packaging of electromechanical assemblies (capital equipment), Final Acceptance Test, and Tooling.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
