KEY OBJECTIVE:

Provide overall support relating to medical programs, content and benefits, to ESIS Claims, Sales, Partnership Services and Medical Programs team.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Strategic support for medical programs to multiple claims offices and serving as resident subject matter expert to on-site claims, sales, and partnership resources located in work comp offices

  • Serving as liaison to medical program service providers/vendors

  • Providing consistent delivery of consultative and collaborative sales and marketing processes specific to medical programs with customers on new, renewal and expansion business

  • Consulting with clients on a national level to coordinate trends, requests, audits and program implementations

  • Assisting in production of client reports and work with data analytics to verify findings and establish applicable action plans

  • Completing audits relating to quality, utilization and billing of programs in the ESIS managed care service portfolio including, but not limited to:  case management, bill review, triage, and utilization review

  • Analyzing medical program loss data of each assigned client to collaborate with client and broker on recommendations to reduce future loss and associated costs

  • Delivering superior customer service by ensuring all issues are acknowledged timely and addressed appropriately

  • Proactive identification of medical program problems, opportunities, and alternative actions, as well as implementing solutions effectively and efficiently

  • Maintaining a professional relationship with clients, brokers, claims, support operations, field office and home office

The pay range for the role is $71,500 to $115,000. The specific offer will depend on an applicant’s skills and other factors. Qualifications - External


  • 3-5 years of work experience demonstrating a strong knowledge of Workers’ Compensation Medical Programs and claims management

  • College degree in general studies or applicable area 

  • Demonstrated experience within account management, sales, or related training specific to workers’ compensation medical programs

  • Excellent collaboration and partnership skills with the ability to work with all levels of management internally and externally

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the resourcefulness to meet the expectations of clients

  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills to handle multiple projects and customers

  • Excellent oral and written communication and negotiation skills, strong presentation skills with emphasis on informal sales techniques

  • Strong writing skills and proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

  • Travel required – primarily east coast, but nationwide as needed; estimated 20% of time
