Job Description:

The award-winning Forbes 4-Star and AAA 5-Diamond Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort & Club is looking for a Massage Therapist to join the Spa Team!

Located in the beautiful coastal town of Dana Point adjacent to Laguna Beach, this town played an iconic role in the emergence of California's surf culture and today is celebrated for its laid-back vibe and fun, active lifestyle.

The resort is perched on 175 acres atop a 150-foot seaside bluff with over 400 rooms, 115,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space, and 8 food and Beverage outlets. This includes 4 restaurants, a beach club, lounge, marketplace, and IRD.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated to build rapport with clientele, reliable, professional and a positive attitude. At least two (2) years' experience as a massage therapist, be a California Licensed Massage Therapist, and ability to work in a performance-based commission structure is required. Must be able to do prenatal, Swedish, deep tissue and stone massage.

What will I be doing?

As a Massage Therapist, you would be responsible for performing massages and/or body treatments for guests in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Perform massage and/or body treatments
• Utilize, maintain and conduct inventory of supplies and products
• Maintain cleanliness of work area
• Maintain records as required by federal, state, local and company regulations
• Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve guest service issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
• Perform general Spa duties, as needed

Pay Range: The hourly rate is $15.50 per hour plus commission and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
