The first 3 letters in workplace safety are Y-O-U! TK Elevator is currently seeking an experienced Sr Financial Analyst I in Atlanta, GA. As a thought leader and key contributor on the Analytics & Insights team, this role will be responsible for bringing together P&L, balance sheet and cash flow activities to provide clear connections and transparency on future financial impacts. This role will also be the lead finance business partner to our Spare Parts LOB, partnering closely with the Spare Parts LOB leadership across Revenue, Gross Margin and Cost Center initiatives.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Identify business performance issues, alert impacted stakeholders and take corrective actions
Support the US Field & NA Corporate monthly close process by gathering needed inputs, performing variance analyses, refining forecasts, and submitting relevant commentary
Partner with colleagues as appropriate to drive analytics across Service and Construction LOBs
Provide financial modeling support for incentive compensation impact to NA Field as part of annual budget cycle and ad hoc analyses
Perform ad hoc reporting & analyses as requested, including supporting highly visible special projects
Play a critical role in forecasting, budgeting & scenario planning cycles
Drive continuous improvement & standardized work flows to support business needs
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant IT systems & processes
Work directly with Spare Parts leaders as the primary finance business partner including insight on monthly financial performance, implementation of strategic initiatives and financial support with budgeting and forecasting
Provide end-to-end financial support and business case validation for new projects in Spare Parts
Partner directly with Regional Finance Directors to provide financial insights and updates as necessary
Develop forward-looking KPIs to validate, drive & forecast performance across the LOBs
Actively manage the portfolio of reports, dashboards & analyses required to provide timely insights and enable better business decisions
Develop partnerships & strong working relationships with stakeholders across the US Field & NA Corporate OUs, become a trusted financial subject matter expert for Spare Parts
Who we are looking for
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Accounting, Finance or similar field is required; MBA preferred
5+ years of progressive experiences in financial reporting, analytics, budgeting & forecasting roles
Working knowledge of an industrial company business model & its financial performance measures
Ability to operate at a high level within a multi-national organization
Understanding of how private equity firms manage portfolio companies
Advanced Excel skill set, along with strong financial modeling & data mining expertise
Proficient in PowerPoint, with a demonstrated ability to develop management presentations
Experience with SAP, Oracle, EPM Cloud & other financial reporting software
In-depth understanding of accounting methods, with the ability to apply GAAP & IFRS knowledge
