SUMMARY

The Business Analyst (BA) for Marketing Systems & Analytics team serves as an innovative and collaborative business partner supporting the Subaru.com website and Marketing Communications. Candidate will be responsible for the successful delivery of solutions in support of strategic business initiatives. This individual must apply creative thinking, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help maximize the benefit of our IT Marketing Systems. Candidate will ensure that business needs are being met effectively and efficiently and will work closely with leadership to identify, recommend, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Works with business partners to elicit detailed requirements that capture business needs.
\n
• Clearly articulates and documents business requirements and works with developers to produce functional requirement documentation.
\n
• Coordinates project delivery by participating in design reviews and walk-throughs to communicate systems designs and validate proposed solutions.
\n
• Ensures that all documentation accurately reflects the current state of changes and outstanding issues so that business requirements are aligned with application features and functions.
\n
• Manages project scope to ensure that business requirements are met, and changes are managed per defined process.
\n
• Works to foster ongoing relationship with business partner to drive satisfaction.
\n
• Obtains key inputs from enterprise architecture teams and identifies solution interdependencies.
\n
• Engages with knowledge workers to incorporate usability and user interface needs when designing systems.
\n
• Proactively resolves customer satisfaction issues.
\n
• Facilitates and oversees QA (quality assurance) engineers assigned to their projects.
\n

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Capable of working independently, a self-starter who performs initiatives that provide solutions for business requirements.
\n
• Exceptional documentation skills including ability to document use cases and process flows
\n
• Demonstrated analytical skills.
\n
• Basic understanding of information technology and business concepts.
\n
• Understands the business issues and data challenges of the enterprise and industry.
\n
• Excellent communicator with strong business analysis, reporting and presentation skills.
\n
• Expertise in business planning, management, problem solving, customer focus & relationship building.
\n
• Familiarity with JIRA or other development management applications.
\n
• Ability to synthesize reported bugs or feature requests and assist team in prioritizing work.

PREFERRED SKILLS
\n

\n
• Working knowledge of Marketing Technologies such as Adobe Experience Cloud (Campaign, Target, Analytics, etc.).
\n
• Working knowledge of website design supporting desktop and mobile applications.
\n
• Understanding of Customer Data Platforms (CDP).
\n
• Understanding of Digital Marketing.
\n

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Hybrid Role - Remote work 2 days per week permitted (after 90 days)

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: BA/BS with 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in an IT Business Analyst role

SALARY RANGE: The recruiting base salary range for this full-time position is $66,500- $95,000. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
