Job Summary:

This position is responsible for the Project Management Office for Hearthside Foods. The position continually reviews and improves PM (Project Management) processes and tools, driving efficiency and effectiveness in the use of the process through assessments, training, project health checks and strategic positioning of limited internal and external PM resources. The focus of this position is on doing work right and also doing the right work. The role will oversee a small group of project managers who will lead large transformational projects for the company. The position will also track and evaluate the projects across the organization and lead key projects.

Job Duties:

Duties may include, but are not limited to the following:
•Provide project management capabilities including staffing (internal and external based), process, tools and training to support HFS strategic projects
•Manage HFS Project Management capability development
•Define and measure success metrics and monitor project management maturity
•Support the selection, development and help ensure quality of PM resources
•Provide Project Management process and tools training
•Manage tracking and "certification" of internal and external PM resources
•Perform project health checks
•Responsible for continually improving the PM process and staff
•Act as Program Manager for strategic, transformational projects
•Manage the Project Management Office for Hearthside Foods
•Track and report on project metrics across Hearthside Foods
•Other duties as identified or assigned by the VP of Transformation

Required Competencies & Knowledge:

Knowledge of:
•Commercialization process, products and operations
•Organization structure and key stakeholders
•Knowledge and experience with SAP

Skill in:
•Acting as a key member of a project team providing leadership in all phases of the project development lifecycle
•Leading cross functionally, providing guidance, coaching and mentoring on a common understanding of quality assurance principles and strategy. Ability to multitask and effectively manage multiple priorities
•Flawless execution of assigned projects with high levels of coordination to ensure all teams are accountable and delivering as expected.
•Coaching others on the project methodology & related policies/procedures
•Maintaining strong relationships and effectively communicating with all customers, suppliers, local and corporate-wide HFS employees.

Ability:
•Strong written and verbal communication skills, analytical ability, drive for results, strategic thinking and ability to effectively work with all levels of the organization.

Proficiency in: MS Office Suite, Excel, Power Point (SAP a plus)

Work Environment:
•Work is primarily done in an office setting.
•Infrequent production environment exposure, which includes noise, dust, moving machinery, fork lifts and fluctuations in temperature.
•Travel up to 10-25%

Minimum Qualifications:
•Bachelor's degree in business/science-related field is required; Post-graduate degree a plus.
•10+ years of Project Management experience with 5+ years of people management preferred. Experience managing and leading projects in a large organization with Food and/or Consumer Goods experience a plus
•Certified Project Manager (PMP) is also a plus
•Must be detailed-oriented, have strong self-confidence and leadership skills and have excellent oral and written communication skills.
•Must be able to uphold Hearthside's mission, vision and values on a daily basis.
