The Position Details-

Starting Pay: $25.85/hr

Hours: Days: Monday - Friday, flexible schedule

Work Environment: Manufacturing, Non-Climate Controlled, Variable Temperatures

Job Duties: The Downstream Operator isthe entry level position in our Extrusion department. As a Downstream Operator, you will utilize standard tools and measuring devices toensure that the final product meets customer specifications and to catch any basic abnormalities. You will collaborate with other production workers to ensure that the orders are properly wound onto reels for shipment to customers.

Job Duties: Deliver, facilitate, and evaluate learning activities at the plant level. Lead, mentor, support and provide the necessary training and tools to educate all employees on processes, procedures, equipment, safety, quality initiatives. Experience with manufacturing processes; knowledge about the extrusion process. Must be able to communicate with many different personalities and train to different learning types. Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Presentation skills for small group and/or classroom-type training; may facilitate train-the-trainer training. Organizational skills with ability to prioritize and handle multiple trainees. Assist management to implement new training formats and documentation. Enthusiastic, receptive to questions, relatable, effectively deliver training. Active listener, assertive, flexible, dependable, enthusiastic, and professional. Open to flex shift hours as needed.
