Thales is currently looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Software Engineering team to help develop and deploy our next generation In-Flight Entertainment and Connectivity (IFEC) product suite. This position requires an individual to be creative, team-oriented, and technologically savvy. The candidate must be proficient in software development as well as operations.
This position requires the candidate to be responsible for the complete life cycle of new or modified software products including implementation, deployment, training, and support. The candidate will need to be able to work autonomously with minimal oversight as well as support interactions with other departments by interacting independently with product owners and stakeholders to solidify understanding of requirements and deliver products on-time. To be successful, the candidate will need to have solid experience within the Agile/Scrum software development methodology, DevOps/ DevSecOps practices, object-oriented programming concepts, and full software development life cycles. The candidate should have sufficient technical skills to support design and architectural proposals and be able to work collaboratively with his/her team. This individual needs to be accountable for his/her commitment (both technically and behaviorally), be able to cooperate effectively, and be adaptive in working with different stakeholders.

The anticipated salary range for this role is $94,251.30 - $188,502.60 USD Annual*.
The Company reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s status protected by local, state, or federal law.
