Prudential Annuities, a division within Prudential’s Individual Retirement Strategies Group, is currently seeking a sales professional to join its growing team as an Inbound Sales Consultant. In this role, you will work on a vibrant team of 20-25 customer-focused individuals. In this fast-paced, constantly changing role, you will help financial professionals solve their day-to-day problems and get the most out of their business relationships with Prudential.

In this role, you will:


  • Field daily phone calls, respond to emails, and routinely solve financial advisor needs as they arise.


  • Deliver detailed responses to inquiries about Prudential product features, performance data, hypothetical illustrations, and requests for literature.


  • Provide back-up coverage to Internal Wholesalers and their territories as needed.


  • Reactively engage existing or prospective financial professionals in new opportunities on a daily basis, using consultative selling techniques and by continuously educating about Prudential solutions.


  • Receive immediate training, as well as ongoing coaching and mentoring from experienced members of the sales team in order to equip yourself with the essential sales and leadership skills necessary for success in this role.


  • Focus on personal talent development to prepare for opportunities to become an Internal Wholesaler.


Qualifications:



  • SIE, FINRA Series 6 (or 7) and 63 REQUIRED


    • If not currently licensed, see Annuities Sales Associate position


  • Ability to pass State Insurance license within 60 days

  • Prior Sales experience, preferably with Annuities

  • Knowledge of Annuities concepts or the retirement industry

  • Self-motivated and team-focused

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Flexibility, resourcefulness, tactfulness, and a desire to continuously improve

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

Work Arrangement:

  • Employee Work Arrangement for this role is Remote/Hybrid. The employee will work remotely and be assigned to an office. Employee will be required to attend or go into the office for any mandatory onsite/offsite meetings/trainings. Office attendance will be fully optional unless told otherwise. Employee Work Arrangement is the businesses decision and can be adjusted or changed for business reasons at any time.

*Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The base salary for this role is $62,200 + applicable sales commissions and/or bonuses. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. In addition, employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement

Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $55,700.00 to $82,800.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. In addition, employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement.
