Job Description

Summary:

Must have skills to learn and perform molding operations that include Poly-u Injection Molding and Neoprene/Buna-n/Silicone transfer molding of Grommets and inserts.

Detailed Description:

• Prep cables and connectors for Potting and molding.


• Priming of product with metal and jacket primer


• Verification of quality


• Mold and tooling care


• Sets up machines and equipment; assures timely and accurate retrieval of necessary materials to maintain production levels; anticipates shortages in components by looking ahead and correcting.


• Maintains time and production records on the line.


• Assists in maintaining the cleanliness and working condition of equipment and tools.


• Informs management of hazardous or potentially hazardous conditions in the work area.


• Maintain Teledyne standards of performance and comply with housekeeping, safety policies and procedures.

Education and/or Experience:

• 2-3 years' experience in manufacturing environment


• Experience in injection molding helpful


• Ability to use fixtures and molds


• Experience reading and understanding blueprints .


• Use basic measuring tools (Calipers and Drop Indicators)


• Must be willing to work with chemicals and solvents.


• Ability to lift 30 pounds
