Job Description:

Summary of Position:  


The Locates Administrator will be responsible for calling-in utility locates for our multiple utility construction projects and screening fiber maps for contract locates.


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Call-in locates for utility lines based on project maps

  • Read and interpret maps provided by Project Supervisors or Project Managers

  • Assign Korterra and emergency locates after screening the mapped area

  • Other administrative duties as assigned

  • Update mapping for contract locates

  • Create On-call Schedules


Essential Education and Qualifications:



  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Must have strong Microsoft Office application skills

  • Must be able to meet daily deadlines

  • Must be able to read and map and know cardinal directions (N, S, E & W)

  • Team player with a helpful and cheerful attitude


Preferred Skills:



  • Experience in the construction industry

  • Experience in customer service
