Currently, we are seeking candidates for a Medical Only Claims Examiner within the Workers' Compensation Department.

Jurisdiction: Florida

• Analyze first reports and promptly contacting insured/claimants.

• Promptly and appropriately develop the file to provide accurate and timely investigation and loss analysis.

• Maintain an active file diary to move file toward resolution.

• Recognize and pursue recovery.

• Adhere to multiple states jurisdictional regulations, statutes and case law and Unfair Claims Practices Acts.

• Recognize and identify potential fraudulent claims.

• Effectively control the use, work product and expenses of outside vendors.

• Effectively evaluate claim facts and negotiating claim settlements.

• Innovative thinker with ability to multi-task. 3+ years of insurance claims experience

• College degree preferred.

If you do not already have one, you will be required to obtain an applicable resident or designated home state adjusters license and possibly additional state licensure.
