About The Role:
We are looking for a passionate, engaging, and experienced learning professional to facilitate and manage learning programs for our global firm. The Senior Learning Consultant will use adult learning theory and high impact facilitation skills to deliver training virtually and in-person at our location in Owings Mills, Maryland. The role serves as a subject matter expert and thought leader for content related to their courses and related skills. Additionally, the role manages learning programs which entails marketing, measuring learning effectiveness, content and material maintenance, process improvement, and in some cases, budget and vendor management.
The Senior Learning Consultant will act as a champion for learning programs and platforms, support Talent Development and strategic firmwide initiatives, consult with clients on learning needs, and lead and participate in projects.

Role Summary:
Identifies, coordinates, develops, and deploys complex, customized Learning and Development programs that support employee development and engagement and align with business needs. Communicates with managers from across the business to identify learning needs. Recommends and provides opportunities for knowledge sharing and skill development. Supports analysis of internal data to determine the efficiency and effectiveness of delivered programs. May recommend improvements to the design, development, or deployment of programs.
Responsibilities:
Interfaces with Learning and Development colleagues, clients, and Human Resources to understand the learning needs and objectives of the client. Provides recommendations on best solutions for audience.
Implements learning strategies based on client needs and supports translation into Learning and Development action plans. Designs, deploys, or facilitates routine learning solutions to support the needs of a business area. Communicates programs to their audiences.
Conducts analyses on program effectiveness, reporting to department leaders on results. Conducts gap analysis against established objectives. Establishes metrics for assessing program effectiveness of programs. Provides oversight and guidance to less experienced staff the design, development, or facilitation of programs. Serves as a technical resource in cross-functional Learning and Development program initiatives.
May source and manage vendors or third-party partners delivering programs or parts of programs, ensuring quality service and delivery. Participates in special projects related to new or existing business objectives requiring Learning and Development program development by providing business requirements or direction for program design or delivery approach.
Typical Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience AND
5+ years of total relevant work experience
