RFP Access & Analytics Supervisor at Cigna

ROLE SUMMARY The RFP Access & Analytics Supervisor plays a critical role within Cigna's RFP Strategy & Operations team. This individual provides specialized focus and supervision to Access & Analytics staff, including in support of their efforts related to network analysis and GeoAccess reporting as part of the RFP process. This individual acts as a subject matter expert and provides a wide breadth of support for experienced front-line employees to drive accurate, consistent, high quality, winning data and reporting outputs. The Access & Analytics supervisor partners closely with the Technology & Access Analytics Manager, as well as with RFP management, other RFP teams, and key organizational business partners to influence solution-based ideas and to implement continuous improvement and service excellence initiatives. He/she may partner closely with our GeoAccess reporting vendor, Quest Analytics, to ensure continued optimization of the team's primary technology and ongoing focus on our broader self-service adoption efforts. Other job responsibilities may include but would not be limited to:


  • Staff coaching, training, and quality reviews

  • Case assignment and collaboration on team capacity

  • Reporting on team-related trends and themes

  • Support and/or leadership of process improvements

  • Support and/or leadership of external vendor discussions

  • Assistance with production volume (e.g., high profile or as needed)

The supervisor must have prior experience in a GeoAccess reporting and/or network analysis role, preferably within the health care space. The ideal candidate possesses knowledge of the RFP process and experience working with sales and sales support teams. Experience working with Quest Analytics applications ideal but not required.

  • Prior experience (3+ years) successfully performing functions related to network analysis, GeoAccess reporting, and/or other provider data management experience

  • Analytical abilities are a must and required to navigate the day-to-day inquiries and challenges presented by internal and external business partners

  • Highly proficient in technical/computer skills is a must - a successful individual will be highly skilled in all Microsoft Office applications (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access), Salesforce, and have the ability or desire to learn other technical skills

  • Demonstrated planning/organizational skills; ability to plan for both the long and short term; ability to work on many issues at once and to prioritize work assignments to the team

  • Demonstrated ability to develop strong working relationships with others, take a leadership role and offer recommended solutions to develop best practices

  • Meet internal and external customer expectations and act with a strong focus to deliver

  • Effective speaking and communication skills

  • Motivated self-starter who is detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills

  • Ability to function in a high demand work environment while managing multiple priorities

  • Responsible and professional business acumen necessary to fulfill job responsibilities

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

  • Prior management experience is a plus but not required

  • Bachelor's degree highly preferred but not required

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 76,400 - 127,300 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
