Essential Functions

• Accurate placement of bands and stretch wrap in accordance with proper setup techniques


• Make neat units with the proper number of bands and correct stacking patterns


• Ensure proper placement of unit tags and cover sheets


• Complete necessary reports in an accurate and timely manner


• Ensure unit quantities are correct


• Operate a forklift in a safe manner when necessary


• Operate an overhead crane in a safe manner


• Utilize proper handling procedures to ensure that metal product is not damaged


• Report any non-conforming metal product


• Work safely and always use proper PPE


• Always follow company rules, regulations and procedures


• Additional duties may be assigned by management

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position working Monday thru Friday plus weekends, at least 8 hours per day with additional hours as necessary.

Preferred Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED


• Prior work experience in the metals industry a plus


• Good mechanical abilities


• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
