We are looking for a Lead Contract/Grant Coordinator to join our team. This position provides professional support in proposal submission activities, managing payroll effort, and financial management of awards. This position may be eligible for remote or hybrid work once the training phase concludes.
In the Department of Medicine, we are growing and are excited to add to our team! The Lead Contract/Grant Coordinator will work as a part of the Central Research Team. Under minimal supervision, this position provides administrative support to a state or national level sponsored grant by preparing grant proposals, managing the grant award finances, and acting as a liaison between the faculty and central offices for required university approvals. This position requires a proficient understanding of research administration concepts, guidelines and principles. The position will work closely with the Central Research Team Manager and will assist the team in achieving team goals and the DOM’s mission.
Duties:
Education: Bachelor's Degree
Experience: 60 months experience in grant proposal submission and/or research administration
Equivalent/Substitution: Will accept 48 months experience in grant proposal submissions and/or research administration in lieu of the Bachelor's Degree for a total of 108 months experience.
