Role Summary:

This role serves as the engagement specialist for the Clinical Data Integration (CDI) program and the Desktop Application initiative. In this role, the candidate will play a part in enabling the business to achieve their objectives through the effective integration of clinical data into our population health tools ensuring the data is available for business use, and working closely with our provider partners to implement the Desktop Application to receive data insights at the point of care.
As third-party vendors, HIE/HIO, and prioritized providers are identified as potential targets, the engagement specialist will be responsible to guide the integrated party through the CDI program to achieve data access and utilize the specific clinical data needed for the CDI program. The candidate will establish data quality and testing standards, cultivate relationships internally and externally, and monitor performance. The engagement specialist will manage the internal and external relations on an on-going basis and perform as a functional bridge amongst external vendors, the greater Population Health Solutions (PHS), and internal Cigna teams.
The candidate will ensure enterprise-wide needs for due diligence, risk assessment, and continuing vendor monitoring are being accomplished.They will also work with the PHS and Cigna teams to develop and streamline processes to evaluate and approve vendors as well as track, measure, and report vendor performance.The candidate will troubleshoot all vendor problems and present to management, as required, along with identifying improvement areas internally as they collaborate closely with all internal stakeholders to prepare solutions.
Qualifications:
Solid understanding of health insurance, customer messaging/design and project management. B.A. degree, Masters or equivalent experience. 5+ years of experience in cross-functional roles in health insurance industry preferred.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 69,500 - 115,800 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
