Job Description:

Nemours is seeking a Health Equity & Inclusion Program Coordinator.

Primary Functions:

The Health Equity & Inclusion Program Coordinator is responsible for the administration and support of OHEI programs including, but not limited to grants management, grant/departmental budget coordination and reporting, administrative coordination of OHEI pipeline programs and external/internal partnership management. A key aspect of the role is managing and designing communications and materials for Associate Resource Groups, and OHEI events (Town Halls, Listening Sessions, educational opportunities). This role will also provide project management support for projects facilitated and sponsored by OHEI.

Essential Functions:

  • Design communication materials (graphics, flyers, brochures, enterprise communications) for OHEI-sponsored events to include, but not limited to Associate Resource Group events, Town Halls, Listening Sessions, educational opportunities, etc.
  • Produce high quality, timely deliverables, and work products in support of DEI strategic priorities, such as slide presentations, data analysis and insights, and stakeholder communications such as the monthly events calendar.
  • Provide administrative and logistical support to OHEI Program Managers to include calendar management, scheduling and organizing meetings, training, and events, meeting time management, and applicable meeting logistics (i.e. technology). Maintain and update department documentation, project tracking, and meeting minutes.
  • Curate the shared OHEI knowledge management space (MS Teams), including providing training to OHEI staff as needed.
  • Responsible for grant management to include, but not limited to grant researching and identifying potential grant opportunities, preparing Intent to Pursue, and grant budget tracking.
  • Provide support to OHEI pipeline program to include program update, recruiting & interviewing, selection, and onboarding & offboarding fellows and mentors.
  • Create and manage reporting and communication mechanisms for departmental metrics.
  • Support Sr. Director, Strategy & Administration in preparing regular departmental budget reports.
  • Participate in local events with external partners that help advance enterprise-wide health equity and DEI priorities.
  • Perform appropriate duties and tasks as assigned by OHEI senior leadership.

  • Job Requirements:

    • Bachelor's Degree required
    • 1-3 years of job related experince.
    • Experience working with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, MS Teams Live Event and PowerPoint required.
    • Organizational and project management experience with ability to develop and track timelines to completion required.
    • Experience developing and disseminating high quality communications and materials internally and externally required.
    • Excellent oral and written communications skills; excellent organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task and work independently.
