POSITION SUMMARY
This position leads the User Experience Design discipline for the delivery of the Evernorth Pharmacy+ product suite, including the existing Web & Mobile products of the Express Scripts Pharmacy, the Web & Mobile products of the Accredo Pharmacy, the Web & Mobile products of the Express Scripts PBM, and the Web product of Evicore.

Direct Leadership Responsibilities


  • Concept & Craft represents the leadership initiatives responsible for the discipline sets that assemble to produce Product Design. The leaders on this team set the bar for their disciplines, and define the processes, work output, platforms and tools that will bring efficiency and quality to product delivery. This team also incubates new design patterns, design systems that represent the evolution of brand in the digital product environment, and innovative experiential concepts that push the expectations of users in the health-focused digital ecosystem.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


  • The ideal candidate will blend aspects of a Digital Creative Director, User Experience Designer, Information Architect and Product Design expert to lead the digital design team in a critical strategic area: Pharmacy+.

  • Focus on the delivery of end-to-end product domains for several direct products and considering pharmacy as a service, including patterns and systems for each domain and each user voice,building auser-centric vision that enhances engagement, drives acquisition, improves retention and grows adoption of digital tools reframing users expectations of healthcare andhealth servicesneeds from difficult to welcoming.

  • Help define KPIs in collaboration with your partners and prioritize product output and deliveries in relation to those KPIs and ensure the strategic vision delivers on those KPIs.

  • Partner with cross functional leaders to lead, develop and measure the product design and design systems (creative, design and content) for multiple healthcare brands in the digital channel.

  • Obsess over details, craft and quality, while making sure to represent the needs of the business and the voice of the customer.

  • Lead, coach, recruit, curate and directly manage the work of the direct product design teams for this space.

  • Partner closely with product and business stakeholders to strategize the highest priority for experimentation and execute those experiments to create new patterns and/or optimize those already in the design kit.

  • Work with Software Engineering leaders to provision, maintain, and deploy products and design systems to the front end engineering toolkit. You will also advise on optimization and invention in these discrete product spaces.

  • Represent the Pharmacy+ team in collaborative forums, including stage- and conference-focused opportunities.

  • Drive the team and ensure all are working towards a common goal, ultimately delivering value by prioritizing product demand, backlog and the execution of engineering efforts.

  • Provide leadership to support to your design teams by handling impediments and potential roadblocks.

  • Develop future leaders within the Evernorth team.

QUALIFICATIONS


  • Background at the intersection of digital marketing, brand, user experience and content strategy, with a history of leading the vision, execution and launch of high-profile initiatives.

  • You have a "one team" mindset, having worked directly with product management, brand, marketing, engineering, different design disciplines and other stakeholders on blended digital teams.

  • Lead the visual and experiential language of the journeys for this product suite and related design systems that serve as the foundational architecture of the digital product universe.

  • Build culture and bring up leaders all around you, creating a happy, healthy and inclusive environment for your team so that they can do the best work of their lives and to thrive while doing it.

  • You have worked on a technology team and closely with software engineering. You don't have to know how to code but you need to be fluent enough to carry a technical conversation.

  • Your past successes include setting a vision and building an actionable roadmap that increases brand affinity, increases engagement and conversion. Doing this within a healthcare or financial services setting would be very applicable to the work we do here.

  • You have brought products to life through storytelling using visual design, content, motion, video, interaction design and data visualization.

  • You have deep experience with design teams working within an agile environment and experience working with modern software engineering teams.

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant discipline or equivalent experience required

  • 10+ years experience at the cross section of UX brand, and digital marketing with 3+ years of prior leadership experience at the Senior Manager level. Experience leading leaders required. A combination of agency and in-house experience preferred.

  • Proficient in Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, After Effects, Keynote, Powerpoint, Drupal (or similar CMS)

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 165,100 - 275,100 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus and long term incentive plan.
