Chubb Small Business is seeking a strategic and innovative Sr. Marketing Manager, Marketing & Communications, who will lead, develop, and execute marketing communications and marketing campaign efforts to drive agent/broker/client engagement. 

 

This role will support the Small Business division which is charged with providing exceptional insurance coverages and services to small businesses located in North America. Chubb Small Business has a reputation of strong performance, exceptional teamwork with collaboration and agility, as well as perpetual perseverance and determination.  This role will be a key part of the forward-thinking enterprise transformation of Small Business as Chubb moves towards becoming digital at our core.

 

As a member of the N. American Marketing and Communications team, this self-motivated and energetic leader will be someone with the ability to think methodically and support business objectives with data and creativity. This team player is ambitious, stays up to date with digital marketing, lends ideas for innovative marketing, and collaborates across the organization’s business areas. 

 

Position Objectives:


  • Build and grow our marketing strategy for Chubb’s diverse portfolio of small business insurance products

  • Provide strategic marketing and communications support and campaign coordination for Chubb’s Small Business division that spans across products and industries as well as digital platforms. 

  • Manage the development and implementation of integrated communication plans to both internal and external audiences. 

  • Participate in a flexible framework to assist in creating solutions quickly and efficiently

 

Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will be a strong marketing generalist and have a background in Small Business Marketing.  The position will support Chubb’s Small Business Insurance division, serving small business owners through independent agents and brokers based in the US. This position will also require collaboration with Chubb’s other commercial divisions. 

 

The selected candidate’s key responsibilities include but are not limited to:


  • Managing the business’ day-to-day communications and marketing strategies and tactics, including marketing automation, email, web pages, SEO, SEM, messaging, collateral, and employee communication in coordination with the Chubb North America Marketing Communications team.

  • Creating and producing marketing assets for independent agents and clients through multiple communications channels including media, web, video and print collateral.  (At times you will write and design the assets yourself, at times you will manage internal or external resources to do so.)

  • Working constructively with teammates and stakeholders, performing as a valued partner and collaborator to achieve shared goals.

  • Meeting regularly with colleagues to share best practices, business developments, updates, and upcoming events.

  • Measuring ROI/impact of marketing activities, working with colleagues to integrate marketing capabilities with MarTech and CRM platforms.

  • SEO, SEM and paid digital experience a plus

  • User centric and understands the need optimize the user experience

  • Managing the marketing development calendar for all creative assets.

  • Upholding standards for quality production and service, remaining accountable for meeting deadlines, and updating stakeholders on the progress of projects

Minimum Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree required – communications or marketing major preferred

  • 8+ years of experience in a marketing or communication role required

  • B2B marketing experience preferred

  • Small Business Marketing experience preferred

  • Extensive experience with digital marketing, CRM and marketing technology including salesforce marketing cloud and google analytics

  • Excellent oral and written communication, presentation, and project leadership skills

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and a focus on establishing and meeting deadlines

  • Agile methodology knowledge a plus

  • Strong influencing and collaboration skills  

  • A proactive and solutions-driven strategic thinker

  • Advanced PowerPoint, Excel, Microsoft Project and Word skills required

  • Ability to travel – 20%
