About us: The Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS) is responsible for providing services to Oklahomans who are affected by mental illness and substance abuse. ODMHSAS strives to provide persistent, incremental improvements in the quality and effectiveness of treatment which results in better recovery for more Oklahomans.  Our state-operated facilities are commissioned to provide services that promote consumer empowerment, wellness, recovery, and integration in the community.

Tulsa Center for Behavioral Health (TCBH) is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations and provides a supportive, safe and welcoming environment in which an array of integrated therapeutic interventions promotes an improved quality of life for consumers and the community. TCBH serves individuals eighteen years of age or older who present in a mental health crisis with or without substance abuse and are determined medically stable.

About the Position: Tulsa Center for Behavioral Health (TCBH) is a 56 bed inpatient psychiatric hospital.  We are currently recruiting for a BHCM II.  Duties includes providing professional telephone and on-site emergency/crisis screening and intervention, answering phones, taking referrals, participating with an interdisciplinary team in treatment and discharge planning, and supporting the consumer during the admission process.  This position will interface with community providers and law enforcement.

Job Type/Salary:


  • Open 9/28/2022 until filled

  • Full-time

  • Annual Salary is $41,000+ (based on experience and certifications)

  • Monday-Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm

  • FLSA Status: Non Exempt

  • 1 Vacancy – 2007

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

Requires a baccalaureate degree from an accredited program in a behavioral health field.

NOTE: Contingent to training availability, Department sponsored case management certification will be completed within 30 days of start date.

Special Requirements:

Upon a conditional offer of employment, applicants for safety sensitive positions shall be required to submit to urinalysis to test for drugs.  Appointment to a safety sensitive position shall be contingent upon a negative drug test result.
