This position can be based in San Diego, CA or Remote.

Position Responsibilities and Duties:


  • Review and comprehend client RFP packages while extracting actionable information for other team member's use:
    • Emphasis on permitting, land use (conditional use permit, landowner requirements / restrictions, easement and roadway agreements, etc.):

      • Communicate and interact with EPC Contract development, Business Development and Estimating groups, bringing project challenges / concerns to the attention of the group for review / discussion.

      • Provide cost and schedule impact guidance (if any), highlight for estimating, awareness of specific concerns.




  • Attend and participate in:

    • Pursuit Kick-off meetings for various projects.

    • EPC - Price Review for various projects.

    • EPC - BD to Operations / Preconstruction Hand-off.




  • Collaborate with the EPC (PV, HV and BESS) team:

    • for the above (permitting, land use), plus review of scope of work, red lining Owner's requirements to identify standard "misses" and/or non-standard SOLV technology.

    • Pay attention to sections outlining Contractor Deliverables and other items impacting the successful completion of the project.



  • Collaborate with SOLV's Operations team in the formalization and development of the EPC into the executable agreement.


Minimum Skills or Experience Requirements:

  • Experience reviewing large number of complex documents and distilling the most important information in a short period of time.

  • Experience with, or eagerness to learn, utility-scale photovoltaic and BESS projects (preferably greater than 60 MWac);

  • Ability to self-start and manage multiple projects concurrently within multidisciplinary teams;

  • Experience using virtual resources for team collaboration and task management tools such as MS Teams, Zoom and Go-to-Meeting.

  • Proficient use of Microsoft office tools, including, Outlook, Word, Excel, and Sharepoint.

  • Proficient in English verbal and written communication skills.
