Infosys is seeking Linux Administrator. This role will be responsible for Unix Systems Configuration and Hardening, Capacity Management, Patch and Update Mgmt, Performance Tuning Mgmt., Log Monitoring, Event Monitoring and Response Mgmt., User Access Provisioning and Mgmt., Linux/AIX server Provisioning and initial Configuration. This role will Maintain documentation of Linux & AIX hardware and software components and user and operator procedures. Installation/Maintenance of Hardware/Software in Production, Development & Test Environment as an integral part of the Unix/Linux (RHEL/SUSE/AIX) Support team. Managing VM disks using Logical Volume Manager (LVM).

Required Qualifications:
• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Brentwood, TN or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience
• At least 3 years of strong Linux and AIX experience
• Expertise in administration of Linux, AIX, SUSE Linux, Cent OS and other Unix flavors.
• Experience managing LDAP/Centrify
• Expertise in Unix Shell scripting

Preferred Qualifications:
• Exposure to vCenter, Ansible, RedHat satellite server
• Familiarity with load balancing, firewalls; knowledge of protocols like DNS, SMTP, http, SNMP
• Be able to Project the Technical & Process requirements for an optimized operation of IT Infra support team
• Exposure to ITIL Based processes will be advantage
• Exposure to DR, setup, design, operations, testing.
• Exposure to Datacenter Technologies & tools and IT Infrastructure design.
• Ability to quickly grasp technical aspects and face new challenges.
• Very competitive and adapt to new changes.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
