Job Description:

Infosys is seeking a Java/J2EE Developer. This role will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design. This role will play an important role in participating creating the high-level design artifacts. This role will also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module and perform support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Candidate can work remotely from anywhere within the US .

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.


• At least 2 years of experience with Information Technology.

Must have skills and experiences:

• Delivery excellence in a highly collaborative, multi-discipline development team environment


• Experience in Java,J2EE, and Spring boot.


• Experience working in a distributed/cloud-based environment (e.g. Amazon EC2, Azure etc.)


• Experience in designing and implementing highly scalable web applications.


• Experience with continuous integration, unit testing, static analysis, and automated integration tests.

Preferred Qualification:

• Experience in micro service, domain driven design, and RESTful Services using languages such as Java, Node, Scala etc, including working knowledge on Spring boot.


• Experience working with NoSQL data stores like Cassandra, DynamoDB, MongoDB etc.


• Experience working with relational data stores like MySQL, Oracle etc.


• Experience with monitoring and tracing tools like Splunk, SignalFx, New Relic etc.


• Experience with continuous integration, unit testing, static analysis, and automated integration tests.


• Continuous delivery experience preferred.


• Working knowledge of Scrum and agile principles.


• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.


• Comfortable working with globally distributed and diverse team.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
