Port Security Officer

Securitas plays an essential role for our clients and in society. Port Security Officer positions help maintain a safe and secure environment for our client by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling, access control at facility's doors and gates, screening procedures, and bag searches. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client's employees and customers.


Specifics:

• 
  Florida Security Guard and TWIC Card Required (Branch can assist in obtaining both)
  
• 
  Starting Wage $14.50/hr, if you pass TSA Screener Training course the wage goes to $16.25/hr (Course Provided).
  
• 
  $150 Bonus after 30 days and $150 after 90 days (no disciplinary actions)
  
• 
  Shift Hours Typically 6am till close (Normally 2pm but may exceed due to business needs)
