Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Bulk Picker to play a vital role in servicing our customers through the picking and shipment of daily orders in our Utah Distribution Center. As part of the Distribution Team, you will help improve team performance and production by driving opportunities for efficiency. You will service our customers while working with internal customers to make changes that will lead to increased sales and profits.


Responsibilities



  • Operate Very Narrow Aisle equipment (Order Pickers & Reach Trucks).

  • Operate forklifts, electric and manual pallet jacks, and manual carts as needed.

  • Work from requisition, order list, or stock list.

  • Pull master cases of items for orders. Place items in a tote or box or on a pallet or cart. Use RF devices and prepare labels.

  • Fill material requisitions promptly and accurately. Record items pulled. Detect defective material and report any shortages.

  • Transport completed orders to distribution point, staging area, or shipping dock.

  • May return/place stock in storage area at proper bin or storage location.

  • Take inventory of stored items and perform cycle counts as needed.

  • Assist in the creation of processes that benefit the entire team.

  • Help create processes and come up with innovative ideas to solve problems that will benefit the organization.

  • Cross-train in other areas of the warehouse and support those areas as needed.


Requirements



  • Basic computer experience.

  • Basic math, language and writing skills.

  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Experience operating Very Narrow Aisle equipment is preferred.


Educational/Certification Requirements



  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Forklift Certification (in house)
