Location: Branchburg, New Jersey
Responsible for all aspects of various projects of a moderately complex nature within Global Operations reagent manufacturing including critical raw materials, bulks, vials and kits to launch new products. This individual will be responsible for design transfer activities from Development to Operations from original concept through commercialization and supply chain set-up. Develops and directs detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, costing and budget monitoring, resource plans, and status reports. Conducts cross functional project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis. Recommends and takes action to direct, analyze and drive solutions to problems to ensure launches are on time, on budget and compliant to applicable regulations.
Responsibilities:
Manages project team information to support project team, LCT and/or LCC decision making
Accountable for quality implementation on projects in the following areas: Project risk management; Critical path analysis; Scenario creation and analysis; Budget; Robust planning
Ability to identify and communicate issues proactively to a wide range of stakeholders
Creates, coordinates and maintains integrated project plans in Project & Portfolio Mgmt. Tool (PPM)
Identifies gaps, potential bottlenecks or delays, challenges assumptions and proposes options to close gaps and get projects back on schedule
Guides and manages preparation for project milestone reviews
Manages meetings to include setting agendas, organizing meeting time and meeting minutes
Consistently executes project management processes, and may lead improvement initiatives
Follows best practices in project teams and fosters continuous improvement by sharing knowledge and continuous exchange
Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Science, Engineering or Business Administration required.
Master’s Degree Science, Engineering or Business Administration preferred.
8 years of project management, product development required.
Equivalent combination of education and work experience acceptable.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Proficient in Smartsheets and/or Project & Portfolio Management Tools
Problem solving skills and ability to coordinate project related activities
Strong written and oral communication skills
Demonstrate stakeholder management and facilitation skills
Diagnostic, Medical Device, Pharmaceutical industry and/or relevant diagnostic area knowledge preferred
Ability to manage projects with ambitious milestones
Ability to escalate and drive management decisions in relation to project execution and resource needs
Understanding of relevant Design Control and/or Phased Development processes preferred
Project Management specific training and/or certification preferred.
