Summary

As a Scrum Master for MDLive you will act as the facilitator for a product development team by managing the Agile/Scrum process and how information is exchanged while ensuring self-organization and making changes quickly to deliver direct to consumer product offerings and associated technology enabled services. This individual will be expected to manage the Agile Scrum processes that contribute to the strategic direction for multiple direct to consumer products and technology-enabled services through interaction with Product Management, Business Leadership and Operations teams.

Responsibilities


  • Work with the Business Owners and the product Owners developing the Product Vision and the product road map and to define business values


  • Guide the product management teams in Writing scrum themes, Epics and user stories using the INVEST Principles


  • Coach the team to Build and maintain the Product backlog through the Product backlog grooming cycles


  • Plan and Conduct the Sprint planning and assisting team in making appropriate commitments through story selection and task definition


  • Work with the Team, Product owner, Business Owner or other involved teams in the organization to resolve any impediments or constraints and maintain the productivity of the scrum teams


  • Work closely with the team to maintain focus on both the product and the scrum process and help the team become more cross-functional, self-organized and Self-managed


  • Leverage technical, business and financial expertise to communicate effectively with the business owners and Leadership teams


  • Working with technical team as part of grooming to understand technical challenges and facilitate the negotiation discussion between Dev team and PO


  • Tracking and communicating team velocity and sprint/release progress to all affected teams and management


  • Conduct Sprint retrospectives and the inspect and adapt workshops


  • Monitoring project risks and scope creep to identify potential problems and proactively identifying solutions to address them in advance


Qualifications


  • 2+ years' of experience working in Agile Scrum methodology


  • 5+ years' of Project management experience in IT projects


  • Experience in creating work breakdown structure


  • Experience in using project management/agile scrum tools like Jira, MPP or SmartSheet to manage the schedule and the resource allocations


  • Excellent communication skills to maintain effective communication and working relationships with customers and project team members


  • Ability to get on with all levels of people and possess strong relationship building skills


  • Ability to manage client / customer expectations by ensuring the delivery of quality service


  • Proven quality assurance, risk management and change management expertise


If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 99,900 - 166,500 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
