About the role
As the Partnership Manager, you will serve as the face of our organization for donors within your assigned region, building and maintaining relationships with our stakeholders, partners and philanthropic communities. Your primary accountability within this role will be to deliver Rise Against Hunger's goals in relation to funding sustainability. You will also be responsible for building upon our existing major gift program, creating corporate partnerships and working closely with and supporting the Community Engagement team in their continued efforts to build our funding base throughout the region. This is a fast-paced position requiring heavy collaboration with all internal departments to further drive fundraising success.

Who Are You
You're a personable individual with a bachelor's degree or two years of relevant work experience and a solid interest in the hunger, international development and nonprofit fields. You have strong computer skills and are proficient in Microsoft Office suite, database management and internet systems and are able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings. Your driver's license is valid and you're able to provide a driving record showing seven years of history. You're also able to comply with DOT regulations, including obtaining and maintaining your DOT certification. You have strong presentation and public speaking skills and are comfortable speaking in front of large groups. You're comfortable working in a non-climate controlled warehouse environment and are able to work both independently and as part of a team. You have some experience in public speaking, sales, volunteer coordination, event planning, or inventory management. You have a passion for our mission of ending hunger around the world.

About the Team
Our Community Engagement team leads the charge of recruiting potential donors, event hosts, and volunteers. We are a team of volunteer, fundraising and donor relationship professionals with the collective goal of ending world hunger through the communities we serve! We operate a face-paced mission-driven volunteer and donor engagement program with events in businesses, faith-based organizations, and educational institutions. We act as leaders in the movement to end hunger.

What You Will Own and Improve
Partnership Development: You will be responsible for connecting organizations to Rise Against Hunger's mission and outcomes through arranging meal packaging events and securing financial resources. You will take the lead in program promotion and developing relationships with supporting organizations, including various religious congregations, businesses, civic organizations, schools and community groups.You will also be responsible for seeking out speaking opportunities, new partnership potential, ensuring follow-up on referrals and assisting in the recruitment of a local engagement board.

Event Management and Facilitation: You will train volunteers and staff on packaging procedures, and adjust volunteer assignments in order to facilitate 4-12 meal packaging events a month. You will lead the recruitment and training of part-time team members and aid in the preparation of written proposals, renewal agreements and other key partner documents. You will transport raw materials and equipment to mobile packaging locations on a weekly basis and facilitate the setup of equipment and other materials using a pallet jack and box truck. You're passionate about our mission and will continuously work to grow the movement through at-event donations and volunteer requests.

Warehouse/Centralized Distribution Management and Logistics: You will receive shipments of raw ingredients, supplies, and equipment, and ship finished products in compliance with USDA requirements for food processing and storage. You will be responsible for ensuring the proper process of all documentation including invoices, bill of ladings, and receipts of orders. You will track and record meal production in relation to projections, meals shipped, inventory and revenue forecasting. You will be responsible for enforcing the safe and effective practices of handling and transporting raw materials, equipment and packaged meals using forklifts and pallet jackets.
