JOB SUMMARY
Has responsibility for quality control audits that are in conformance with quality processes, standards, and procedures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·        Conducts visual inspection of electronic components and sub-assemblies.

·        Responsible for entering defect data in the traceability system

·        Escalates defect issues beyond threshold to Quality Technician or Quality Engineers

·        Work to meet department and company goals (Efficiency, Quality, and Scrap)

·      Conduct Roving Layered Process Audits to ensure documented visual aids and procedures are being followed.   

·       Be involved in root cause analysis and corrective actions for Quality issues in your area.

·        Performs routine audits and reports

·        Audits methods, sequences, set-ups to ensure the conformance and specifications to the manufacturer's required processes.
·         May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

·        IPC 610 Electronics Quality Inspection experience

·         Experience working in Electronics and Cleanroom environments

·         Experience in utilization of microscopes, calipers, and micrometers
·         Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
·         Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
·         Advanced software skills, including training and knowledge of manufacturing traceability systems
