TK Elevator is currently seeking an experienced Sales Coordinator - New Installation in San Antonio, TX.

This position is intended to support the New Installation Sales Team with estimating, proposal creation, and general sales related activities. This role will facilitate the handling of invitations to bid for new construction projects which will enable our team to estimate more efficiently and submit more proposals.

Essential duties and responsibilities:


  • Responds to customer inquiries from our marketing portal, and either handles directly or delegates to the sales representatives.

  • Monitors upcoming projects via lead-generation resources (Dodge McGraw-Hill, etc) and creates opportunities in CRM system for sales reps.

  • Solicits and schedules Lunch & Learn presentations and sales meetings with Architects, Consultants and Construction Managers. Arranges for catering/accommodations as required. Processes participant sheets and produces completion certificates. Conduct customer follow ups after Lunch & Learn presentations.

  • Coordinates the RFP screening and handling process. This includes receiving all RFP's and ITB's from our customers, downloading bid documents, and screening the projects to evaluate desirability for TKE. Requests extensions to bid deadlines as instructed by reps and maintains/updates a team bid calendar.

  • Coordinates project estimation process by downloading and organizing all bid documents for the project. Creates and distributes bid packages to operations, TK Manufacturing, and third party vendors. Creates electronic and hard-copy file for projects we intend to bid. Enters initial data into CRM system and TKE estimating programs for finalization by the sales representatives. Assists sales with pre-qualification forms.

  • Coordinates the maintenance sales efforts. Includes working with DVP to determine the initial service conversion probability for each project. Works with Quick Quotes and service department to generate service contracts for the salespeople.

  • Develops and maintains a contact database of vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors. Works with purchasing department to ensure they are in good standing and have signed our vendor agreement.

  • Manages inventory of marketing collateral, samples, and TKE branding materials.

  • Facilitates and schedules interdepartmental meetings for pre-bid reviews, booking package reviews, kick-off meetings and NIM turnover meetings.

  • Performs clerical duties, such as writing correspondence to customers.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Who we are looking for

Required Work & Education Experience:


  • High school diploma or GED (general education degree)

  • One year certificate from college or technical school preferred

  • Three to six months related experience and/or training in basic business administration

  • Some elevator repair administrative work preferred

  • Oracle database knowledge
