Job Description:

Minimum Education Requirement:

  • Associate degree in an IT related field or four years’ experience as Signal (25 series) military occupational specialty (MOS) code.

Special Skills/Qualifications Required:


  • In-depth knowledge of networking principles; internet working with Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP); hardware and software installation; windows based and Linux based operating systems; Local Area Network infrastructure including routers (Cisco), switches (Cisco), information assurance tools, printers, scanners, cabling, common user software (i.e. Word, PowerPoint, etc.); and special-purpose training workstations.


  • In-depth knowledge of U.S. Special Operations Command Tactical Local Area Network (TACLAN) program.


  • In-depth knowledge of Joint and Army Mission Command applications and collaboration tools such as Cisco Jabber, Internet Relay Chat (IRC), etc.


Certification/Experience Required:


  • Shall have commercial certification at IAT Level II in accordance with DoD Directive 8570.01 Certification Requirement Chart.


  • As a condition of privileged access to any DoD information system, Technician (Mission Command Information Systems) must satisfy both preparatory and sustaining DoD cyber security training and certification requirements.


Additional Desired Qualifications/Experience:

  • Knowledge of interoperability of simulations to C2 systems. Experience with VMware Professional software. Experience providing IT support to classroom training environment.

Security Clearance:

  • Secret clearance.

Additional:

  • These positions will be temporary or term positions, for a period of four months: 26 September 22 - 27 January 23.
