The Executive Administrative Assistant in this role will support the CIO and IT Leadership Team as needed by handling a wide range of administrative and support tasks to ensure effective use of the CIOs time and interactions. The person in this position will collaborate and coordinate with Zimmer Biomet senior management, other administrative assistants and global functional team members, as well external partners to achieve goals.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Manages the executive's schedule, meeting preparations (attendees, agenda, etc.), follow-up tasks, and complex travel arrangements – both domestic and international and subject to frequent changes.
Organize and coordinate in-house and off-site meetings, teleconferences, and videoconferences
Working with outside vendors to schedule time with ITLT and staff (project related, conferences, monthly check-ins)
Create and submit executive's expense reports
Collaborate and coordinate with other executive assistants for cross-functional leadership member meetings
Manage executive’s PO creation and approvals with Sourcing
Conduct research and information gathering on behalf of the executives and prepares summaries and reports.
Initiates and/or supports processes to manage projects, information, and people.
May prioritize incoming email, mail, and telephone calls, or prepare correspondence and presentation materials

Able to work remotely, work overtime – including evenings and weekends as needed, and travel with and for team meetings up to 15%
Expert knowledge and use of Microsoft Outlook
Proficient knowledge and use of Microsoft Teams, PowerPoint, Word and Excel
Foundational knowledge of SharePoint, Concur, SRM, Smartsheets, DocuSign, ADP payroll, and Adobe are helpful
Comfortable working independently
Able to handle stressful situations with calm response
Takes initiative and demonstrates resourcefulness
Able to learn and effectively use new software applications
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Education/Experience Requirements
High school diploma or general education equivalent and 7+ years of experience in administrative or related roles required
2+ years’ experience providing global executive administrative support required
