Chubb is seeking a Private/NFP Manager located in our Tampa, Florida office with primary responsibilities for the growth and profit of all Private/Nonprofit Financial Lines business in the State of Florida and acting as the market liaison for all Chubb Financial Lines.
Responsibilities:
Revenue Generation and Distribution Management:
Private/Nonprofit financial lines profit & loss accountability for premium, profitability, growth, retention, and expense plans/results
Manages execution of Private/Nonprofit financial lines underwriting strategies locally
Acts as a liaison and manages the entire financial lines storefront for the branch, articulating strategies and priorities internally with the financial lines team, branch and commercial insurance colleagues, and externally with producers
Creates Private/Nonprofit financial lines marketing strategy, derived from underwriting strategies, and coordinates marketing and production activities
Oversees business and budget planning for Private/Nonprofit financial lines.
Directs Private/Nonprofit financial lines business development and underwriting activities and provides guidance for implementing sales strategies
Manages Private/Nonprofit financial lines producer relationships and product education/appetite; serves as point person for key local producers
Collaborates with the Underwriting Service Branch to maximize renewal efficiency of qualifying business written within branch and capitalizes on the New Business Service center and online quoting capabilities to enhance efficiency and support new business generation
Partners with the E&O, Public and FI cored teams to develop a plan for managing and prospecting financial lines business written within the branch
Collaborates with Small Commercial Territory Sales Leader to enhance point of sale financial lines knowledge and sales process
Producer Management:
Partners and collaborates with Commercial Insurance counterparts, marketing, and branch management to enhance producer relationships and cross-sell results
Develops and drives new business production
Implements sales management process; Develops a robust pipeline of prospects
Establishes business plans for key producers
Builds relationships externally and will represent Chubb Financial Lines in the marketplace amongst brokers, customers, competitors and industry organizations; must be able to play a key leadership role accordingly

Collaborative partner with the field, home office, claims, general counsel, compliance, marketing and communications, operations and learning & development to provide the necessary support and tools for the branch underwriters and underwriting associates to successfully execute the underwriting strategy
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Minimum of 5-7 Years Underwriting experience with strong knowledge of Private/NFP products, underwriting, marketing and the competitive environment.
Prior experience managing people preferred, but not a requirement.
Able to demonstrate knowledge, skills and abilities in revenue generation, staff leadership and producer management.
Exhibited competencies in communication, collaborating and executing strategy
Well-established track record of overseeing a profitable book of business, complex agency distribution and high level of underwriting expertise
Strong presentation skills and effective communication of strategies, goals, and plans.
Influence management and proven ability to balance multiple stakeholder perspectives to achieve business goals
Effective engagement and motivation of staff
Experience with Agency and Broker Relations/ Customer Management
