Kforce's client, a growing publicly traded healthcare company in Bridgewater, NJ is seeking an Associate Manager, Global Accounting. This role is a member of the Controllership organization and will report directly to the Manager, Technical Accounting. This individual will be a key liaison to the global finance organization and business process owners. As such, this role entails significant global cross-functional interaction with Treasury Operations, Financial Planning & Analysis, Consolidation, and Corporate Accounting, External Reporting etc.
Responsibilities:
Associate Manager will be responsible for the monthly, quarterly, and yearly close and consolidation process, working closely with the appropriate stakeholders
Accounting and reporting for fringe, intangible assets, and goodwill
Prepare month-end journal entries and complete account reconciliations of general ledger accounts in compliance with internal controls
Preparing and booking consolidation and topside adjustments and communicating pushdown adjustments with the global entities
As an Associate Manager, you will be responsible for monthly and quarterly reporting transactions and coordination of financial reporting deliverables including the balance sheet package
Research and analysis of accounting treatment on various transactions and reporting requirements
Responsible for various global tie out and roll forward packages
Responsible for the global account change policy and reviewing the GL account change requests from the global entities
Interaction with auditors as well as reviewing the global reporting package and flux analysis
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
CPA or parts passed
4+ years of public accounting audit and/or private corporate reporting/accounting experience
Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills
SAP knowledge (preferred, but not required)
Strong collaborative skills and ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Robust analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to prioritize and manage workloads and exercise a high degree of adaptability
Strong verbal communication and presentation skills
-Can-Do- attitude and ability to communicate and partner with associates at all levels of the organization
