Job Description:

We are looking for a talented GENERAL MANAGER to join our Cummins Distribution Business Unit in Henderson, Colorado, US

The General Manager overall role expectations are to:

▪ Upholds a culture of safety and quality and implements direction from corporate and region

▪ Manages branch financial and operational performance

▪ Builds an environment of continuous growth for employees

  • Set sales and operations targets for the branch

  • Set operational strategies in line with local market conditions

  • Provide input and direction on controlling expenses against budget and plan

  • Report and own branch revenue and profitability during period end closing

▪ Corporate initiative implementation and liaison


  • Assign branch resources to plan and execute improvement initiatives

  • Implement continuous improvement systems and culture

  • Liaise with corporate functional support activities including Facilities, HR, Finance, IT

▪ Employee development and performance management


  • Review performance with other managers and agree on next actions

  • Coach and develop branch managers

  • Recruit and retain talent

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
