What You Will Be Doing You will assist in the development of accurate electrical designs, programs and documentation while providing high quality customer service to internal and external customers. You will assist in the design, assembly, and testing of electrical control systems and control panels for vacuum pump systems, you will assist with the supervision of Electrical Designer/Programmer I and II and lead the team in the absence of the Electrical Engineering Manager.
What You Need for this Position Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology REQUIRED
5 plus years of experience in PLC and HMI programming REQUIRED

-Working knowledge of digital test instruments (i.e. multi-meters)
-Working knowledge of Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) programming, Operator Interface Terminals and similar automation control systems and components; -Familiarity with analog (4-20ma) transmitters, and adjustable pressure/vacuum switches
-Working knowledge for Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) and or Adjustment Speed Drive (ASD)
-Hands on experience with common hand tools used in the electrical field
-Experience in technical writing; Working knowledge reading and interpreting electrical wiring, Piping and Instrumentation Diagram/Drawing (P&ID)
- Programming and configuration of PLC's, Operator Interface Terminals (OIT) and VFD's
- Knowledge of power distribution systems, automated control systems, electrical and controls instrumentation, and the National Electrical Code (UL 508A, UL 1203, NFPA 99 and NFPA 79)
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
