What You Will Be Doing - Provide direct ongoing leadership and coaching for teams SRE teams designing and developing new products/ updates / enhancements!
- Apply Site Reliability Engineering practices to a wide variety of on-premise and cloud-based customer-facing services
- You will be accountable for people coaching and development, hiring, operational excellence, quality, and business outcomes.
- Engage with the agile leadership and roles to ensure the features hit the target drives and fosters organization-wide performance standards.
- Manage deliverables, schedules, and costs for multiple on-going projects, ensuring that resources are appropriately allocated, and that goals, objectives, timelines, and budgets are met
- Communicate project status and escalates issues to direct managers, program managers, and executive sponsors.
- Assists team in delivering an automated CI/CD pipeline with automated tests, deploys, monitors, and alarms.
What You Need for this Position - 10+ years of software development experience, including 5+ years of people management experience
- Strong leadership skills, including (coaching, team building, conflict resolution, and management)
- Cloud-native application development
- Containerization (Kubernetes)
- Go/rust/python programming
- Microservices Architecture
- Automating CI/CD
- Agile software leadership
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field. Advanced university degree preferred.
