What You Will Be Doing Specification, development, and deployment of measurement systems

Acoustic and vibro-acoustic simulations using FEA

Specify and acquire equipment, components, and tools for use in a NPI environment

Analyze large amounts of calibration and performance data (Excel/Matlab/JMP)

Estimated travel of up to 10% international travel
What You Need for this Position MS in Mechanical Engineering, Acoustics or a similar field ( PhD preferred)
3+ years of professional experience
Deep familiarity with room acoustics and/or transducer design
Experience with acoustic and multi-physics simulation (Comsol/Ansys)
Experience with CAD tools, preferably NX/UG
Experience programming in one or more of the following: C/C++/Python/Matlab

Nice to have's:
High volume consumer electronics manufacturing experience
Experience designing scalable instrumentation and HW/SW automation
Experience working with contract manufacturers (CM)
Experience with acoustic materials specification
Mac OS X experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
