This is a remote position: Open to candidates anywhere in greater United States

Position Summary:

The Manager, Veeva CRM and Vault Developer will work closely with key personnel in Sales, Marketing, Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Business Effectiveness to provide Veeva CRM and Veeva Vault application enhancements in support of Lundbeck's Digital Transformation efforts. This individual will bring expertise to serve as the point of contact for common issues and concerns experienced by field personnel and focus on improving capabilities across Veeva. Areas of expertise include Veeva CRM software development, Veeva Vault configuration, system validation testing, and documentation.

Essential Functions:


  • Participate in requirement sessions with sales, marketing, med affairs, market access, and business leadership to document requirements for new functionality or enhancements to processes. Strategize to develop solutions that support long term business objectives.

  • Document, manage and implement system changes in Veeva CRM and Veeva Vault utilizing configuration and coding ensuring compliance with Lundbeck policy and processes. Drive results by pursuing initiatives to successful completion and closure.

  • Manage and perform system testing, user acceptance testing and validation testing; in close collaboration with the global IT QA team as well as US Quality Assurance teams on computer system validation to ensure we are compliant.

  • Manage and perform administrative duties in Veeva CRM including but not limited to maintaining user accounts, updating list of values, product administration, creating reports/dashboards, updating and creating workflows and solving end-user technical issues.

  • Load data into the system using APIs or Apex data loader including alignments, product metrics, sample allocations, call plans etc.

  • Create/Maintain sandbox environments and cleanup of sandbox environment data to support new hire training and other training initiatives.

  • Manage CLM, Approved Email Content Migration and Deployments; working closely with agencies on timing and needs for content administration.

  • Create Reports/Dashboards based on business requirements and run reports as needed for the business.

  • Maintain Veeva system certifications and subject matter expertise.

  • Proactively pursue product improvements to adapt to Lundbeck's vision for digital transformation.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve service desk tickets and provide support for miscellaneous projects to support the business as required. Problem solve and offer solutions and options for issue resolution.

Required Education, Experience, and Skills:


  • Accredited Bachelor's degree

  • 3+ years of system administration and configuration experience

  • 1+ years of Veeva CRM/salesforce.com development experience or like software

  • Good understanding of the CRM data model

  • Passion for continuous learning and promoting digital transformation

  • Experience with SDLC methodologies

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, taking initiative and working independently

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with an ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical subject matter experts

  • Exceptional focus on customer service

  • Ability to dig deep into requirements discussions to understand the problem being solved for

  • Self-Starter who can manage multiple tasks simultaneously with minimal supervision

Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills:


  • Veeva Vault development experience

  • Experience working in the pharmaceutical industry supporting a remote sales force and onboarding new sales forces

  • Experience maintaining Computer System Validation Documentation for GXP systems

  • Veeva CRM certifications

  • Experience with Pharmaceutical Sales, Medical and/or Marketing

  • Experience working with a co-promotion partner

Travel:


  • Willingness/Ability to travel up to 10% of time domestically. International travel may be required

The range displayed is specifically for those potential hires who will work or reside in the state of Colorado and Connecticut, and in New York City, if selected for this role, and may vary based on various factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role. Salary Pay Range: $115,000 - $140,000 and eligibility for a 10% bonus target based on company and individual performance.
