The Product Owner of consumer-facing digital products will lead innovation to transform how consumers learn and shop in the Medicare segment.



Supervisory Responsibilities:





  • Direct responsibility for optimization team and UX Designer




Duties/Responsibilities:





  • Lead idea generation for site products (ClearMatchMedicare.com and Medicare Solutions.com) to address consumer needs and address pain points to increase engagement and conversion

  • Create clear product visions and roadmaps

  • Lead an internal cross-functional team of developers, project managers, optimization managers, UX designers, copywriters, and designers to execute to roadmaps

  • Use research and testing to understand consumer needs

  • Lead validation processes for new features. Determine which benefit from UX testing, work with team to develop Minimal Viable Product, and build business cases (including financial estimates) that support prioritization and resources required

  • Manage monitoring of competitive and best-in-class relevant sites. Draw conclusions, disseminate to stakeholders, and recommend innovation from learnings

  • Oversee optimization team, which sets up A/B and multivariate tests to deliver improvements in engagement and conversion

  • Deliver reporting and analysis of funnel KPIs to demonstrate progress and identify areas for improvement

  • Communicate site evolution and new features across the company. Work with communications and training teams to make sure agents understand and embrace direction

  • Partner closely with digital marketing team to deliver leads and applications

  • Select and manage external resources to supplement the internal team

  • Develop product team talent. Work with each team member to create personal learning plans

  • Performs other related duties as assigned




Required Skills/Abilities:





  • Bachelor's Degree in related field



  • 8 years of product development and management of online consumer-facing sties, with recent experience managing a site for a B2C ecommerce business

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to create and communicate a product vision and roadmap, sell it to stakeholders, and articulate product features to enable product team to execute successfully

  • Ability to collaborate and persuade across the organization

  • Experience in Agile and Design Thinking Principles

  • Technical fluency - ability to understand, discuss, and challenge architectural concepts, tradeoffs, and approaches with technical team members

  • Experience with Jira, Wrike, Google Analytics, and Hotjar

  • Familiarity with state-of-the-art marketing technology, particularly Content Management Systems and Consume Data Platforms

  • Experience using facts and data to influence decisions and set priorities, constantly improving customer experience to deliver results

  • Ability to identify root causes from investigative analysis




Preferred Skills/Abilities:





  • Previous experience managing the selection, on-boarding, integration, and use of state-of-the-art marketing technology




Physical Requirements:





  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer, typically in a cubicle environment (constant noise, fluorescent overhead lighting)
