Our Leadership Development Program (LDP) will provide you with in-depth professional work experience, ongoing mentorship, and targeted training across a range of business areas within our company. Areas include Sales, Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, Project Management, Information Technology and Reporting, Data Analytics, and Client Relations. During your 15-month program, you will broaden your overall knowledge of our company, our policies, and practices and who we are in the Healthcare industry. This experience will provide a unique learning environment and high visibility to our Leadership team, mentoring relationships with managers and peers, and exposure and to strategic company projects. Our goal will be to transition LDPs to a regular, full-time position (pending performance and availability of openings).


Here's What You'll Do


Each rotation during this 15-month program will give a full overview of HPOne. During your initial rotation, we work with you to obtain your Health Insurance License and you will spend the first 6 months as a Sales Agent in the heart of our firm: one of HealthPlanOne's robust sales centers. You will work alongside one of our top agents learning how to help Seniors navigate important and complex decisions around healthcare. Through this on-the-job training, you will gain invaluable customer service, communication, and sales and marketing skills.


Over the next 9 months, you will participate in 3 rotations, each 3 months in duration. The rotations of your choice will be within 3 of the following business units:




  • Sales (required)

  • Finance

  • Marketing

  • Human Resources

  • Project Management

  • Client Relations

  • Information and Technology Reporting & Data Analytics



Within each business unit, you will be partnered with a mentor who will provide day-to-day coaching, perspective, and guidance. Once you complete the rotational program, you will work with the Program Director and Executive Leadership to decide which business unit you would like to join as a full-time team member of HealthPlanOne.

Core skills/abilities needs:




  • Bachelor's degree in any relevant field with a GPA of 3.5 or higher

  • Desire to lead & mentor others, as part of your long-term career goals

  • Open to gaining professional experience within any of our business units

  • Demonstrated initiative and entrepreneurial spirit

  • An ability to work well independently, as part of a team, and across corporate divisions

  • Excellent communication and analytical skills

  • Flexible and adaptable to a demanding and fast-paced work environment

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S
