What will you be doing at Woodard & Curran? 

Woodard & Curran is offering a unique opportunity to join our Water Infrastructure team to provide high quality water, wastewater, and/or recycled water services to municipal clients across the firm’s geographies and core markets. The successful candidate will have technical expertise in the field of environmental engineering and have in-depth understanding of the engineering concepts associated with water and/or wastewater treatment, solids removal and handling, nutrient removal technologies, extended aeration facilities, membrane treatment equipment, and process piping; a working knowledge of wastewater and/or water operational methods is a plus. Collection and/or Distribution experience is also a plus. The candidate will have experience preparing engineering reports, contract documents for construction, and overseeing construction of work design. 

The successful candidate will report directly to Project Managers who provide leadership in the timely and quality delivery of services including effective scheduling and cost management control and mentoring of the professional staff. 

What will you need to succeed? 

• 4-8 years of engineering experience. 




• B.S. Degree in Civil or Environmental or Chemical Engineering. 




• Registered Professional Engineer is a plus. 

In addition, this position will require experience in the following supervisory and project engineering duties: 

• Coordinating the work of engineers and developing and monitoring phase schedules and budgets components of larger projects 




• Experience leading the design or portions of the design 

• Experience in Construction Administration including coordinating submittal review 




• Familiarity with AutoCAD software 




• Making decisions independently on engineering problems and methods. 




• Mentoring and directing staff on technical assignments, and reviewing technical work completed by engineers under supervision. 




• Interacting with clients, representing the firm in a professional manner.
