We are in search of a passionate dog groomer to join our newly renovated grooming salon!

The grooming salon and veterinary clinic are separate to allow for our groomers to have their own space to work and focus. Yet they are able to access the clinic should they need veterinary assistance. We have built a great reputation in the town of Woodinville, WA and the surrounding communities. Full-time and Part-time positions available



This position starts at $17.00/hr + 50% commission!



ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Bathing and grooming dogs
• Communication with clients: confirming and booking appointments, verifying grooming instructions at check-in, etc.
• Cleaning of cages and the grooming salon making sure to follow the clinic protocols

• Providing exceptional grooming care in a fear-free environment for pets

• Passion for working with animals and expanding knowledge in grooming techniques to be able to provide the best care and service to each pet.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Grooming school classes preferred.

• Grooming certificate preferred.

• Have at least 1-2 years grooming experience.

• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds.

• This position requires the ability to walk, bend, stand and reach constantly during a minimum 8-hour day.

• Dependable attendance is required.

• Ability to handle differ sizes and temperaments of dogs.

• Excellent problem solving skills.

• Knowledge of grooming procedures and clips for all dog breeds.

• Good sales skills.

• Computer skills.

• Telephone communication skills.

• Ability to speak and hear sufficiently to understand, give information in person and over the telephone.

• Fine motor skills adequate for utilizing hospital equipment such as electric clippers, computers, etc.

• Any allergies to animals must be controllable through medication.
