Gray Construction is currently seeking experienced Field Technicians with a wide range of construction field duties experience ,assisting in servicing our ongoing Construction Projects/ Clients here in Southern California - West Region.

Required Skills:

Must have a clear driving record - DMV Report - Valid Drivers License

Must have experience in some of the following trades: drywall, painting, tile installation, plumbing, electrical, ceiling work, framing, and concrete work.

Well-rounded maintenance/service minded individuals that work at a fast pace safely.

Performs work in accordance with industry and company standards.

Responsible for the communication, implementation and enforcement of Gray's safety program on site.

Experience with installation of client provided equipment.

Experience in multiple trades; tile install, patch and paint, plumbing repairs etc.

Experience operating power tools and working on top of ladders.

Ability to follow directions without direct supervision.

Ability to document work throughout stages of completion and communicate issues with Supervisor.

Strong attention to detail.

Required Experience:

Must have experience in some of the following trades: drywall, painting, tile installation, plumbing, electrical, ceiling work, framing, and concrete work.

All Around Carpenter

Experience in Retail and /or Restaurant Construction and Open Store Remodels is required.

Prospective applicants with a professional attitude, detail oriented and quality workmanship have an opportunity to advance.

Must have flexibility to work nights.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze and interpret documents such as blueprints, safety manuals, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Must have basic business mathematical skills, including ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or other forms.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands and arms, reach, and talk or hear. They are regularly required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch. Must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 lbs, and occasionally lift or move up to 100 lbs. Specific vision abilities include accurate near and distant vision.

WORK ENVIRONMENT While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, and outside weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to high precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, extreme cold and/or heat, risk of electrical shock, explosives, and vibration. The noise level is generally moderate to loud. Overtime may be required.
