Our Corporate Marketing team strives to understand the needs of the customers and communities we serve and design the most effective programs to meet those needs. This team accelerates sales activity by attracting, engaging and converting leaders and their teams through the delivery of compelling Gartner insights and experiences throughout the buyer journey.

The Video Producer is a key role within the Creative Center of Excellence (CCOE), Gartner's in-house creative agency. This role will report into and partner with the Media Production Director to help oversee strategic video solutions for a variety of video projects and initiatives.

What You Will Do:


  • Be a key member of the in-house production team to shoot live action interviews and off-site events and interviews.
  • Working knowledge of virtual production, to be able to provide direction remotely to talent.
  • Ability to shoot, edit and add graphics fast.
  • Travel to destination conferences and lead a production crew on site.
  • Expert working knowledge in all technology and equipment relevant to live shoots and editing and final delivery.
  • Maintain the highest creative, conceptual and production standards - producing compelling work with flawless execution, while constantly ensuring brand integrity and consistency.
  • Translate client objectives into compelling, creative video editing, including selecting best music tonally and creatively for the edit, understand aesthetics and use of typography in video.
  • Collaborate closely with the Director of Multimedia Production and other Senior Producers on multiple projects.
  • Develop and deliver visually compelling videos that reflect Gartner's corporate brand guidelines and industry best practices.
  • Seamlessly integrate motion graphics design into video.
  • Share passion for great production methods with latest technology and editing styles.
  • Ensure video and graphic solutions support specific storytelling needs of the projects.
  • Proactively communicate within the production team and wider ecosystem of colleagues on projects.
  • Lead solutions to production and through workflow challenges.
  • 1/3rd shooter, 1/3rd video/editor storyteller, 1/3rd producer.
What You Will Need:

  • Located near Stamford CT area at least 1 hour commuting distance.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 3+ years in Production/Editing experience in corporate, agency or broadcast.
  • Expert editing, skills with Premiere and good understanding of After Effects.
  • Good Working knowledge of Canon C300, 1Dx and R5 and other top line production cameras.
  • Experience leading production of shoots on and off location.
  • Ability to understand and visually translate complex business topics and trends.
  • Expert storyteller with a seemingly effortless ability to go from script to screen using stock video, motion graphics and shot elements through OpenReel or in-studio shoots.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and share skills with production team members.
  • Excellent organizational, time management and communication skills.
  • Positive attitude towards problem solving and attention to detail.
  • Ability to quickly adjust to new situations and maintain focus to meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Mac OS and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, very customer and service focused.
