The opportunity
The Refund Assurance Champion is a critical role that maintains long-term relationship with clients. In this role, you'll be a liaison between Innovation Refunds and our business clients during the 9-12-month processing period for their refund check(s). The ideal candidate will have a strong communication skill, time management, and problem-solving. You'll report to the Operations Manager and work closely with peers in support, sales, and marketing.

What you'll do

Act as a point of contact for client inquiries and escalate issues as needed
Cultivate and develop long term relationships with clients during their waiting period before refunds are paid.
Provide consistent follow up with valued clients to ensure any IRS communication and letters are replied in a timely manner
Assist with answering incoming support requests from our clients and distribute to appropriate departments if necessary
Partner with Finance to research billing and payment issues
Develop a working knowledge of current process, software applications/programs that are used
Obtain customer satisfaction feedback and share the results to our managers
Secure customer testimonials, quotes, and case studies ? Other duties assigned

What we're looking for

1-3 years of customer success experience
Previous experience in call center or retail management environment is highly desired but not required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to solve issues in a timely manner
Ability to handle multiple requests
Good interpersonal skills and ability to maintain relationship with clients
A willingness to wear multiple hats and dive into high volume requests
