Senior Manager, Product Management: Claims Experience Team

Job Details:

We're looking for an ambitious and capable Senior Product Manager with strong technical skills to oversee the Claims Experience Team for Cigna Digital. You will lead a group of product managers dedicated to creating best-in-class products across Cigna's customer, provider, and client/broker digital experiences. You will be responsible for helping to build the strategy, define requirements and drive execution for the products across mobile and desktop platforms. You'll lead a team of product managers whose mission is to take the guesswork out of health insurance and drive the digital transformation of the healthcare industry.

The right person for this role can solve complex problems, communicate solutions concisely and articulate clear vision to technical and non-technical groups. A successful Senior Product Manager will help us deliver end-to-end experiences that connect health consumers and providers with the guidance, support, and incentives they need to increase quality of care and maximize cost-savings.

Primary Responsibilities:


  • Lead a team of product managers/owners and coordinate with product design, research, and analytics teams to build and improve the core Claims mobile and web digital experiences for customers, providers, and clients & brokers

  • Develop and optimize a fully integrated Claims experience for each stakeholder to help drive user satisfaction while meeting business objectives

  • Create and manage the product roadmap for applicable applications and systems

  • Evaluate and prioritize potential new features leveraging Voice of Customer Feedback, Call Center Data, and Digital Analytics via SQL/queries

  • Define business solutions, rules, and data requirements for new functionality

  • Manage the creation of architectural solutions that fit the business vision

  • Drive the design vision through the design teams to create user friendly UI/UX

  • Write detailed product requirements and design specifications for development of new products and features

  • Work with development team on solution design, implementation tactics, and schedule of deliverables

  • Manage stakeholder relationships, develop and propose solutions, and incorporate stakeholder needs into the team's roadmap

  • Work with readiness teams to manage communications, awareness, trainings, etc. in support of go-to-market activities

  • Incorporate data and analytics driven insights into the team's roadmap prioritization process driving toward continual improvement of the team's KPIs

Desired Skills and Experience:


  • Data-minded with A/B testing experience

  • Demonstrated history of using data to drive product development roadmap

  • People management/leadership experience required

  • 7+ years of digital product management/development experience

  • Experience with digital transformation and delivery of future state

  • Experience with Agile development methodologies & mobile app architecture (e.g. Native, React Native, etc.)

  • Experience with digital tools such as Jira, Jira Align, Invision and Confluence

  • Entrepreneurial spirit + the ability to deliver and thrive in fast-paced, dynamic startup environment

  • Experience creating technical/functional requirements for development. Able to define how a product works vs. simply bringing ideas to fruition

  • Proven experience working across multiple business units, specifically Product, Engineering, and Sales

  • Analytical, organized, and an independent problem-solver

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Internet industry (web + mobile) experience preferred

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of $119,600 - $199,300, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
